MOGRTs (Motion Graphics Templates) let you use professional-quality animated titles, lower thirds, and graphics directly in Premiere Pro โ€” no After Effects skills required.

Installing Templates

  1. Download .mogrt files from Adobe Stock, Motion Array, Envato, or custom-built by your motion designer
  2. Open Window > Essential Graphics
  3. Click the folder icon (Install Motion Graphics Template)
  4. Select your .mogrt file โ€” it appears in your Local Templates folder

Using Templates

  1. Browse your templates in the Essential Graphics panel
  2. Drag a template onto your timeline
  3. Select the clip and open the Edit tab in Essential Graphics
  4. Customize all exposed properties: text, fonts, colors, timing, logos

Building a Template Library

Create a branded set of MOGRTs for each client: lower thirds with their brand colors, intro/outro sequences, social media overlays. Once built, any editor on the team can apply consistent branding without design skills. At Southbound Studios, we build custom MOGRT packs for every recurring client to maintain brand consistency across all deliverables.
